  • The Dromedary is numerous especially in arid regions with very high temperatures. It has a single hump.

    Among the various species two are mainly distinguished. They eat any kind of vegetation and accumulate fat in their hump which allows them to go long periods without eating. Dromedaries can live without drinking for up to 7 days.
