The new reptile house is now open to the public. Inside, it hosts five species of reptiles, including the extremely rare rhinoceros iguana.
The construction work, which lasted four months, was carried out using a very unique technique that allowed for the creation of an exhibit suitable for the new residents.
The reptile house features five large terrariums, equipped with plants, vines, logs, and spacious water basins. Everything is supported by underfloor heating and specialized artificial lighting systems, essential to maintain a natural habitat for both the plants and the animals.
Among the animals that visitors will be able to admire are: the ancestral reticulated python, the albino reticulated python, the green tree python, the rock monitor, and the extremely rare rhinoceros iguana.
