ON THE ANIMAL TRAIL Duration: approximetly 4 hours including 1 hour of break |
This proposal is composed of one guided tour and a laboratory with tactile activities. The laboratory teaches children that no animal can live without leaving some trace of its presence. Footprints, feathers, nests, antlers, undigested food, eggs are only some of the elements that animals leave on their territory. How can these traces be interpreted? Being able to touch the fur of the lions, antilopes and wolves, the giant turte’s shell, the teeth of elephants and hippopatamus, the antlers of deers and reindeers, the horns of antilopes and bison, the eggs of the ostrich and emu and being able to use some of their footprints to make plaster replicas makes this experience unique for the children that partecipate.
