The White Rhinoceros is the largest species. It has two horns and its most developed sense is the one of smell while its auditory sense and sight are rather low.
Unlike the Black Rhinoceros, they are very social and usually live in small groups of about ten individuals.
The trot, with which the white rhinoceros usually moves, can reach very high speeds in moments of danger.
The period of gestation is around 18 months and usually one young is born.
